The rise of AI, particularly Generative AI, is transforming labor markets, industries, and economies worldwide, raising urgent questions about inequality, job displacement, algorithmic management, and corporate power. This workshop fosters an interdisciplinary dialogue between social scientists, economists, and AI experts to examine AI’s impact on labor and society and explore pathways for more equitable and sustainable technological development.
